Hey world! Wow, it's been a while! I thought I would give you a small update and let you know what is going on with my life...and with my face.

First of all, all I have been using lately on my face is Cleocin T Gel. I really love it, you have no idea. While my face still breaks out, this is the best product by far I have used. I wash my face twice a day with Cetaphil and then apply my T Gel and all is well. :) I do notice I wake up with a pretty oily face in the morning when I use T Gel but I am pretty sure the reason is because this product does NOT dry out your face! <3 I used to be a slave to Benzoyl Peroxide and you all know how well it treats your face...NOT! That stuff dries you out horribly. When I used it, sure, I woke up oil free, but at night I had to literally scrub my face to death with a loofah to get rid of all the dry skin. Since I switched to T Gel, I haven't used a loofah ONCE! Do you know how awesome it feels to actually not have to use a moisturizer? It's a BIG change for me, I love it!

Anyway, I DO want to get back on Accutane. Like I mentioned before, I need to get on insurance again and Accutane is way too expensive without it. My T Gel alone without my insurance is $50 a month, which bites for such a tiny bottle. Oh well. Once you find something you love, you don't want to go back to anything else. :)

Another reason why I am not on Accutane anymore is because I am about to have surgery and we all know that Accutane and surgery do not mix. If I were to stay on the Accutane, I would have to wait THREE YEARS before I could undergo this procedure. No thanks. I will just wait and start it up again. :) For those of you who don't know, Accutane really does a number on your skin and surgery is not a good idea because it can leave HORRIBLE scars plus some other scary things. It's ok, I am a patient girl (for the most part) and I will wait. :)

Well, that is all for now I guess. If you still read this, keep coming back, I won't let it die! I will keep you updated after the surgery as well, which happens June 27th. <3 #
